'Off The Air'

Who? What? When? Where? | 'Off The Air' is an American psychedelic anthology television series, created by Dave Hughes for Adult Swim. It started in 2011 and it's now in its 12th season. Each episode consists of a series of clips of surreal footage, presented without explanation or narration, organized around a central theme. The theme is stated in each episode's title. Here’s a taste on YouTube.

Why do we like it? | It's weird and wonderful. Most television is formulaic by design. But because 'Off The Air' isn't trying to tell a story or make a point, there is no beginning, middle, or end. It's all for its own sake. 

Rating | The worst clips fire around 3/10. The best clips fire at 10/10. Most clips fire in the 7 to 8/10 range. Each episode's different. All episodes are interesting.
